It`s my midlife crisis party and I`ll cry if I want to. 18 October 2010. BBC Radio 4
Produced by Elizabeth Burke and Kim Normanton
3 midlife crises – 3 parties – a year on, has anything really changed?
50 is the new midlife crisis point (at 40 most people now feel far too young, and too busy with children and careers, to have time to think about it). This programme takes three people who are in the midst of a major re-evaluation of their life. We begin with their parties – they have faced up to being 50, unlike many of their friends... We hear about how they are re-assessing their lives and follow them through their 50th year, as they try to put their changing perspectives into practice. Not that easy!
